FINANCIAL SUPPORT

Enlist, Engage, Equip and Empower…These four words sum up our work. Through our statewide events and local gatherings we are both drawing people in to participate in racial reconciliation and healing and giving them the opportunity to live out the calling that all Christians have – to live by grace. We’ve named it Gracism (GRACISM – (a) the act of extending the grace that we have experienced from Jesus Christ in order to promote racial reconciliation).

Your financial support of Mission Mississippi encourages relationship building across racial lines, communication among churches, business and individuals of different races in order to help bridge the historic racial divide.

Funds directly support office operations, statewide and local events, speaking engagement expense, Next Generation Leadership Initiative, Year-Long Prayer Journey, Prayer Gatherings, Curriculum Development and other Resources.

For the past 23 years, Mission Mississippi has been working within the State of Mississippi to improve race relations. Mission Mississippi folks have been on the front lines during every recent racial incident to pray, support and offer a safe environment for individuals to gather  and talk lovingly and respectfully about their viewpoint and then to walk away with a better understanding and a desire to work together to end racism in Mississippi and beyond.

EVENT SPONSOR

Our event sponsors are what make our events possible. We have two annual events each year: The Spring Prayer Luncheon and the Annual Racial Reconciliation Celebration Banquet. Because of our event sponsors Christians from all over the state gather to pray for our State-wide and Local Leaders and be encouraged with the message of reconciliations that challenge us to grow personally in racial relationships.
